Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team, to help drive our infrastructure initiatives, manage lift-and-shift projects, and optimize SaaS architectures.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will play a key role in designing, deploying and managing complex infrastructure environments.

You will work closely with development and operations teams to automate workflows, streamline deployments and ensure system reliability and scalability.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong expertise in both cloud and on-premise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

-Design, implement, and manage both on prem and cloud-based infrastructure solutions across AWS, GCP, and Azure

-Lead lift-and-shift migration projects, moving workloads from on-prem data centers to the cloud while ensuring minimal disruption.

-Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement scalable, high-performance SaaS architectures.

-Optimize and maintain MariaDB databases in both on-prem and cloud environments.

-Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning.

-Implement infrastructure as code (laC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.

-Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance.

-Monitor system performance and ensure reliability, scalability and security.

-Advocate for best practices in DevOps, security, automation, and cloud architecture.

Qualifications:

-Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

-Proficient in AWS/GCP/Azure cloud platforms.

-Proven experience in lift-and-shift migration projects, successfully migrating workloads from on-prem to the cloud.

-Experience in integrating security practices into every phase of the SDLC.

-Experience in general DevSecOps best practices.

-Proficiency in MariaDB database administration, optimization and scaling.

-Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (laC) practices and tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).

-Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools.

-Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.

-Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar.

-Solid understanding of networking, load balancing, and cloud storage solutions.

-Good command of English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with the US-based team.

-Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Salary range:

$70,000 to $110,000 Monthly gross Mexican pesos plus benefits
